The Yuma Police Department is proud to open our first official substation. The Yuma Police Department Araby East Substation is located at 6390 E. 26th Street. It is a modern, 4,100 square foot facility, which will provide a resource for our eastern community and officers.

It is currently open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and closed on city holidays. There is also an after-hours communication system located outside the front doors to connect you with the City of Yuma Public Safety Communications Center.

Available Services

The Araby East Substation provides the following services:

• The anonymous Prescription Drug Collection Program. There is a collection box for unused, unwanted or expired prescription medication located in the lobby.
• Staff available to assist with everyday police related needs such as reporting a crime, requesting copies of police reports, public records, ride-a-long applications and vehicle releases.
• A community room which can be scheduled for local organizations or government agencies

Currently, the release of property, notarized record checks and fingerprinting services are only available at the headquarters building located at 1500 South 1st Avenue.

The Yuma Police Department will strive to provide the same services from the substation that it provides at the main station. We encourage any feedback that you think will help our substation serve you better.
