The Procurement Division is an operational section of the Finance Department and is charged with the centralized responsibilities for purchasing, surplus property and mail distribution.

The City of Yuma recognizes that our local business community has a keen interest in doing business with the City and to that end, the City advertises informal and formal solicitations online and advertises formal solicitations in the Yuma Sun, as required by Arizona state law.

Vendor Registration

The City of Yuma utilizes Bonfire for its Procurement Portal.  To get on the Procurement Division’s vendor list to obtain automatic solicitation notices, and to submit electronically at https://yumaaz.bonfirehub.com

 Cooperative Purchasing

In support of the needs of departments, the City utilizes a variety of cooperative purchasing agreements (CPA) from counties, cities, and other government agencies. Cooperative Purchasing allows participating entities to develop contracts for common, standardized products and services in an effort to save time and money to help stretch budget dollars.

Solicitation Opportunities - solicitation opportunities include Bids, both Formal and InformalRequest for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Request for Offers, (RFO), Request for Information, (RFI).
