78-Crime
78-CRIME is a community program designed to bring law enforcement, the news media and citizens together to combat crime and make our community a safer place to live.

Accident Reports
Motor vehicle accident reports written by Yuma Police Department are available for purchase on-line.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Services Unit responds to calls of animals disturbing, animals running at large, animal cruelty cases, injured animals, animal bites and a host of other situations involving domesticated animals.

Araby East Substation
The Yuma Police Department is proud to open our first official substation which will provide a resource for our eastern community and officers.

Auto Theft Awareness
Simple steps from the Yuma Police Department that can help prevent you from being a victim of auto theft.

Case Status
To obtain information about your case status, you will need to contact the City of Yuma Police Department and you must have your case number.

Crime Free Multi-Housing
The Yuma Crime Free Multi-Housing Program is designed to help residents, owners and managers of rental property keep drugs and other illegal activity off of their property.

Explorers
Exploring is part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women. This program provides experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.

Fingerprinting
This is a public service and is provided free of charge.

Found Property
Arizona law requires the property be kept for 30 days to await the owner to claim it. At the end of the 30 day period, if the property is not claimed, it may be returned to the finder.

Graffiti and The Anti-Graffiti Strategy (T.A.G.S.)
The Anti-Graffiti Strategy's goal is the overall reduction and fast-as-possible removal of graffiti within the city limits.

Neighborhood Watch
This program is designed to build a sense of community so neighbors come to know each other and can look out for each other. The community learns how to maintain the neighborhood so that visitors know that the residents care about what happens there.

Notarized Record Check Letters
To obtain a notarized "Record Check" letter, come to the Yuma Police Department main lobby.

Pet Licenses
City of Yuma Ordinance Chapter 130-020 requires the licensing of all owned dogs and cats 3 months of age and older that live within the City limits.

Police Reports
You will need to complete a request form. A case number or detailed information will assist us in obtaining your report.

Policy Manual

Prescription Drug Collection Program
The prescription drug collection program offers the public a means to anonymously deposit their expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs.

Release of Property
To arrange for the release of your property, you will need to contact the City of Yuma Police Department during operating hours and you must have your case number.

Report a Traffic Concern
Alert us to traffic safety concerns so that we may address them.

Residential Security Survey
This program offers the citizens of Yuma the opportunity to increase the overall security of their property thereby decreasing the likelihood of being victimized by crime.

Ride-A-Long Program
Citizens are given the opportunity to accompany a police officer during their working shift.

Vehicle Releases
If your vehicle has been impounded under 28-3511, you are required to contact the City of Yuma Police Department to get your vehicle released.

VIN Etching (Vehicle Identification Number)
Permanently etching your vehicle identification number on each piece of window glass on the vehicle is a visual deterrent against auto theft.

Volunteers in Policing (V.I.P.)
The Volunteers in Policing program was created to enhance the quality and number of services provided to the community and to get citizens involved in police related activities.

Watch Your Car Program
This voluntary program gives law enforcement officials permission to stop a vehicle if it is seen operating between the hours of 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM, when the majority of auto theft occurs.
