Any person with standing shall be permitted to appeal a decision of the Authority Having Jurisdiction to the Board of Appeals when it is claimed that any one or more of the following conditions exist:
1) The true intent of the Code has been incorrectly interpreted.
2) The provisions of the Code do not fully apply.
3) A decision is unreasonable or arbitrary as it applies to alternatives or new materials.
An appeal shall be submitted to the Building Advisory Board (as established and referred to in Section 1.10 of the 2018 NFPA 1 Fire Code, and City of Yuma Ordinance 2018-55) in writing within 30 calendar days of notification of violation.
