Call the Court Jury Line at (928) 817-4266 after 5:00 pm the day before you are expected to appear to ensure that your appearance is still required.

Jurors are to report to the Yuma Municipal Court located at 1515 S. Second Avenue, Yuma, Arizona no later than 8:15 am. You must pass through Security screening prior to entering the Court, please arrive with sufficient time to complete the screening process and check-in. Please bring your Jury Summons with you and a valid picture identification.

Jurors should park in the parking lot directly in front of the Courthouse.

The court will provide water at your convenience. There are multiple restaurants located nearby from the courthouse.

Yuma Municipal Court is committed to providing accommodations pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you have any special needs or accommodations, please contact the Yuma Municipal Court at (928) 373-4800 at least two days prior to the date you are summoned to appear. 

Except in an emergency, to be excused from Jury Duty, call the Jury Office at (928) 817-4257 or (928) 817-4258 at least 2 business days prior to the date and time listed on your summons. All persons requesting to be excused shall provide proper documentation to support their request.

Please call the Jury Office at (928) 817-4266. Excuses are not granted on the basis of religion or moral beliefs, status or business proprietors, or profession. Excuses may be granted for those who do not read, write or understand English and for those who suffer from a severe physical or mental illness.

The law states (A.R.S. Section 21-236) that an employer shall not refuse to permit an employee to take leave of absence from employment for the purpose of serving as a juror or dismiss an employee because of juror service. However, an employer is not required by law to pay employee's their regular salary or wage when on jury service. Please check your employer's policy.

The hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prospective jurors should make arrangements to remain the entire day. 

If selected to serve on a jury for a trial, service is complete at the conclusion of the trial. Generally, jury service is also complete for those who are not selected to serve on the first day.
