  •  NO weapons of any kind are allowed at the court with the exception of Law Enforcement Officers on official business or Court Officers. Violators are subject to arrest and prosecution.
  •  ALL cell phones should be turned off before entering the courtroom.
  • Food, drink, or gum chewing are not allowed in the court building. Drinking fountains are located in the courthouse lobby for your convenience.
  •  Observe appropriate standards of attire. The court is a place of business, and visitors should wear appropriate clothing. Please take your hat off before entering any courtroom.
  •  While in the courtroom, sit quietly when court is in session. Do not chat or whisper with friends or relatives. The court proceedings are being recorded and background conversation can interfere with the audibility of this important record.

Please note: This list is not exhaustive, and security has full discretion when deciding what may or may not be brought into the courthouse.

Court Security: The Yuma Municipal Court employs Court Marshals, who are agents of the Yuma Police Department Judicial Enforcement Unit under the authority of the Judiciary.
