Transportation System Management & Operations (TSMO) is responsible for:

• Review and response to traffic control modification requests
• Review and approval of Traffic Control Plans for work within the City's rights-of-way
• Planning and operation of City intersections
• Planning and implementation of a citywide Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS)
• Planning and implementation of new transportation system management technologies such as flashing yellow left-turn arrows, adaptive/semi-autonomous signal controls, etc.
• Management of traffic signal timing
• Collection of traffic data
