The City of Yuma offers  no-cost comprehensive Pre-Development Meetings (PDM) as a service to review and discuss proposed projects with any customer. Pre-Development Meetings are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Staff member representatives from multiple departments are on hand to provide a one-stop shop approach to discussing and reviewing proposed projects.

Our staff is trained to work with home owners, professional Architects, Engineers and Contractors, each at the level that is required. The staff reviews concept site plans, current City of Yuma codes and requirements and identifies potential issues that could arise during the development processes. They also act as a liaison for the small business owners and homeowners to assist in guiding them through development, public hearing processes and technical aspects of construction.
