The City Clerk’s Office is responsible for updating and maintaining the Yuma City Charter and the Yuma City Code.

The Yuma City Charter is the “constitution” of the City and can only be amended by a majority vote of the qualified electors of the City of Yuma. The Yuma City Code is a compilation of ordinances, commonly known as local laws, which are adopted by the City Council. The Yuma City Code is amended by ordinances that are adopted by the Yuma City Council. Both the Yuma City Charter and the Yuma City Code are available on-line to view, search and print.

• The official version of the Yuma City Code is the printed version on file in the City Clerk's Office.
• In addition, ordinances and/or resolutions, which amend the Code, may have been enacted subsequent to the following version of the Code.
