Chambers The City Clerk’s Office gives notice of all City Council proceedings to the general public and records all actions taken by the City Council. City Council meeting agendas are distributed electronically free of charge.

To sign up for e-agendas, visit yuma-az.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx and enter your email address into the Email Updates box near the top of the page. The City Clerk’s Office also maintains past and current agendas and minutes of City Council meetings for public review.

City Council Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. City Council Worksessions are held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays preceding the City Council Meetings. Both are held in the City Hall Council Chambers, One City Plaza.

Please Note: As of February 2015, all future City Council meeting agendas, packets, legal summaries and meeting minutes will be hosted on an external web site.

Call to the Public

Call to the Public is an itemized agenda category included on the regular scheduled City Council Meeting. Call to the Public is an opportunity for the public to sign up at the meeting. Speakers wanting to comment on issues not listed on the agenda should be aware that the Arizona Open Meeting Law permits City Council to discuss only those items listed on the agenda. If you would like to participate in a City Council meeting, a Speaker Request Form is required and will be available at the entrance to the City Council chambers on the day of the City Council meeting. City Clerk's Office staff is available in the Council Chambers, prior to each meeting, to assist with completing the form and information concerning agenda items.
