One of most stated aspects of economic development activities by economic development organizations is their desire/need to work with site selection firms in competing for new or expanded corporate facilities. Site selection firms are tasked with the challenge of finding a company the location that best fits its operational needs and priorities. Local and regional economic development organizations often make the case for their community in response to site selector requests for proposals.

The City of Yuma has had a very rewarding experience with site selection activities over the past 2.5 years. Yuma has seen four projects choose a city address for their new operations.
