Each year more than 250,000 people visit Yuma to experience the sights, sounds, tastes, and heritage of this very unique and historic place.

The City of Yuma celebrates the community's unique history by hosting events throughout the year. These festivals feature activities for all ages, and attract thousands of visitors into the Yuma community.

Old Town Christmas

  • Introduction: Join us as we light up Historic Old Yuma with twinkle lights on wreaths, light poles, Christmas music, festive food, and the lighting of the Main Street Christmas Tree.

On Saturday, December 2, join us as we light up Historic Old Yuma with twinkle lights on wreaths, light poles, Christmas music, festive food, and the lighting of the Main Street Christmas Tree.

A magical tradition for Yuma families! Bring your family for a stroll of Old Town on Madison Avenue and Main Street. Come and experience the moment that the air fills with holiday spirit! This event features sweet treats, Santa being rescued from top of the Art Center, free photo with Santa, live performances and all old Christmas traditions to cherish!

It will be a full day of merriment the whole family can enjoy.  See you all then Yuma!
