Galaxy Exploration: Astronomy Expo & Rocket Building
âšī¸ Learn about our Solar System, Observe the Sun through Solar Telescopes. Learn about constellations, and why we see different Zodiac constellations as the seasons change.
From a kit, we will build, paint and launch a model rocket. Research and create a science board about a planet in our solar system. Lay out a scale model of our Solar System on a field. Pluto is way out there!
Class ends with a family night of stargazing with laser pointers to find constellations, and telescopes to observe planets, stars, nebulae, and galaxies.
