Intersection Closure: 24th Street and Avenue D; 32nd Street, avenues A to B utilities to grade; 16th Street and Pacific Avenue

24th Street and Avenue D - Intersection Closed Tuesday - Yuma County

Yuma County will conduct a road overlay that will close the intersection of 24th Street and Avenue D beginning 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 and lasting the rest of the day. Through traffic should detour using Avenue C and either 32nd Street, 16th Street or 20th Street.

32nd Street, Avenue A to Avenue B

Crews are raising utilities to grade this week, resulting in isolated lane restrictions along 32nd Street between avenues A and B. Also, Dunes subdivision residents should now resume using 15th Avenue as their entry and exit point. The fire access gate in the rear of the subdivision has been closed with the completion of the 15th/32nd intersection.

16th Street at Pacific Avenue

Work is under way on private property improvements in the southeast corner of 16th Street and Pacific Avenue that will result in 16th Street being reduced to one lane of eastbound traffic and restricted left turns from southbound Pacific onto eastbound 16th. This is expected to continue through the week.
