Avenue C, 8th Street to 1st Street and Figueroa - Yuma County

Wednesday through Friday (June 20-22), Avenue C is closed to all traffic between 5th Street and 4th Place. Local traffic may detour using Palm Avenue between 4th Street and Linda Lane. Through traffic should use Avenue B between 8th Street and 1st Street.

This is part of a Yuma County project where a contractor is widening Avenue C from 8th Street to Figueroa Street and 1st Street and installing a City Of Yuma water main. On the north side of the project, the section between Riverside Drive and Figueroa Street has new pavement but otherwise remains restricted to one lane in each direction.
