Avenue A to Close South of 32nd Street Wed., Thurs. Mornings

Avenue A will be closed south of 32nd Street on Wednesday and Thursday mornings this week for pavement of this section of the project, opening in the afternoon on both days. Motorists will be asked to detour using 8th Avenue and 36th Street.

Beginning Tuesday, May 29, work will shift to the north side of the intersection of 32nd Street and Avenue A. Starting then, Avenue A will be closed to all traffic in both directions between Holly Drive and 32nd Street. Through traffic should detour using 8th Avenue or 4th Avenue, taking 28th Street or 24th Street to rejoin Avenue A.
