Theft - 1700 Block of South Crowder Avenue

On Thursday April 5, 2012 at approximately 7:40 am, a search warrant was served in the 1700 block of S. Crowder Avenue at the home of 50 year old Mark Seward. Seward had been the subject of an on-going theft investigation.

For over a year when Seward was the President for the Yuma Youth Soccer Association he stole over $35,000 from the organization for personal gain. During the investigation it was discovered 53 year old Beth Beecher who was the Treasurer for the Yuma Youth Soccer Association also stole over $10,500 from the organization for personal gain.

Both Seward and Beecher were arrested and booked in the Yuma County Detention Center for Fraudulent Schemes and Theft.
