March On City Finals (5K/10K Run and Fun Walk)

This is the final event in the Yuma Parks and Recreation 5K and 10K Run and Fun Walk Winter Series.

Location
Race starts and finishes at the West Wetlands Park, 282 North 12th Avenue, Yuma, Arizona.
Participants of each City sponsored 5K/10K run are awarded points to determine the overall 2012 City Champions. Medallions are awarded to gold, silver, and bronze winners in each separate group. Groups are determined by age in separate male and female categories: 9 and under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 and over.
- On-site registration is from 7:00 am - 8:00 a.m.
- Race starts at 8:15 a.m. SHARP!
All 5K Fun walkers receive a participation ribbon. All walkers who participate in all five races will receive recognition at the end of the series.
Admission
This event is designed for all ages, whether you're a walker or runner.
Pre-Registration
The fee for pre-registration is $8 and the deadline is Thursday, March 7 by 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is available online, in person at City Hall, or by phone at (928) 373-5243.
On-Site Registration
On-site registration is $15 and starts at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 a.m. SHARP on the day of the run. No late runners will be allowed to start.
