2021_MayorBikeRide-72 (1)

Founded by Mayor Nicholls and leaders from 4FrontED, the Mayors' International Bike Ride unites communities and highlights the region. The mayors and elected officials from the cities of Yuma, Somerton, San Luis, Wellton, and San Luis Rio Colorado, along with Yuma County and the Fort Yuma Quechan and Cocopah tribes, gather to host the ride, welcoming and encouraging participants along the route.

This is a family-friendly event that moves at a leisurely pace, guided by area public safety agencies with stops every four to five miles.

Starting at the Yuma Civic Center, the ride includes stops at Cocopah Korner, Somerton City Hall, Friendship Park in Gadsden, and Montezuma Park in San Luis, concluding with a celebration at Benito Juarez Park near San Luis Rio Colorado’s City Hall.

Participants can avoid the lines on the morning of the ride by attending a pre-registration event held the evening before at Paradise Casino, 450 Quechan Drive.

How do I register?
Who can ride?
What do I need to bring?
How much does it cost?
How do I get an event shirt?
What do I need to know about crossing the border?
How do I get back to the Civic Center?
Where should I stay?
