The City of Yuma's government access channels, City 73 and Ciudad 72, make public meetings more accessible to City of Yuma residents and facilitate involvement in local government decision making by providing programming that increases viewers' awareness of the local government decision making process, local government activities, public issues, and services available from City departments and agencies.

Local Programs

In addition to "live" coverage of all City Council Meetings, City Council Worksessions and the Planning & Zoning Commission Meetings, the City's Media and Public Affairs team locally produces several programs to serve the Yuma community in both English and Spanish.

CityOutlook

"City Outlook" is a weekly half-hour interview program featuring guests from throughout the Yuma community to discuss topics relevant to the Yuma area with host Dave Nash. "City Outlook" runs on City 73 at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. every day. An audio-only replay of the preceding week's episode runs locally on KLJZ (93.1 FM) and KCYK (1400 AM) in the 5 a.m. hour on Sunday mornings. Recent episodes may be watched online.

Yuma le Informa

"Yuma le Informa" is a half-hour interview program where guests from the Yuma community join host Martha Guzman to discuss topics ranging on such topics as water service and Community Oriented Policing. "Yuma le Informa" runs exclusively on Ciudad 72 at midnight., 3 a.m., 6 a.m., noon, 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. daily. Yuma le Informa is produced in Spanish.

Yuma 411

"Yuma 411" is a 15 minute magazine program featuring news and events affecting the Yuma community, Yuma 411 is produced weekly and hosted by Martha Guzman. Yuma 411 is shown on City 73 seven days per week at 7 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 10:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 4 a.m.
