The Streets Division executes efficiently planned maintenance  and operation programs with a focus on prolonging the life of over 312 centerline street miles, providing a safe drivable street surface, and maintaining the landscaping and  other aesthetic attributes of our street network. 

The Division is always on call for emergencies, and responds to accident sites to assist in traffic control and cleanup. Street services include six (6) separate crews:

  • Right of Way Crew
  • Concrete Crew
  • Asphalt Crew
  • Sign Shop Crew
  • Basin Crew 
  • Solid Waste Crew

The Streets Division is responsible for:

  • Road Maintenance
  • Traffic Signs and Striping
  • Concrete Repairs for Sidewalks, Curbs & Gutters
  • Storm Retention Basins
  • Street Sweeping
  • Unpaved Grading
  • Street Light Repairs
  • Code Enforcement Compliance
  • Asphalt Maintenance
  • Right-Of-Way Maintenance
  • Street Traffic Control

The Streets Division also provides an Anti-Ugly Hotline as well as a Graffiti Hotline to address unsightly issues.
